1. Bay Breeze Mocktail

Ingredients:

2 oz cranberry juice

2 oz pineapple juice

3oz club soda

 Ice cubes

Lime wedge for garnish

Instructions:

  • To start, fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Then, combine the cranberry juice and pineapple juice in a cocktail shaker or mixing glass. Stir or shake the mixture until well combined.
  • Next, carefully pour the mixture over the ice in the glass. Top with club soda.
  • Finally, add a lime wedge for garnish to give your mocktail a subtle citrus flavor.

The Bay Breeze mocktail is a wonderful choice if you’re looking for an alcohol-free alternative to traditional cocktails. The refreshing mix of cranberry and pineapple juices gives it sweet and tart flavors.  This is my go-to when I go out with friends.

Plus, it’s easy to customize the recipe to your liking by adjusting the ratios of each ingredient to suit your taste buds.

2. Mimosa Mocktail

Orange Juice

Club Soda or Sparkling Water

Orange wedge, if desired

Ice cubes, if desired

Instructions:

  •  Pour equal parts of orange juice and sparkling water into a champagne flute.
  •  Stir gently to combine.
  • If desired, add an orange wedge to the rim of the glass for garnish.
  •  Serve and enjoy your refreshing mimosa mocktail.

A Mimosa mocktail is the perfect alternative to the classic brunch beverage for those seeking a non-alcoholic option. It is easy to make, requires only a few ingredients, and can be customized to suit personal tastes.

3. Pineapple Ginger Mocktail

Ingredients:

3 oz pineapple juice

1/2 oz Limeade (or fresh lime juice if desired)

3 oz ginger beer

Ice cubes

Instructions:

  • Add 1/2 oz Limeade and measure 3 oz pineapple juice.
  • Fill a shaker with ice cubes, pour in the Limeade and pineapple juice, and shake well. This will help to chill and mix the ingredients.
  • Strain the shaken mixture into a glass filled with ice cubes.
  • To finish, pour 3 oz ginger beer over the top of the drink and give it a gentle stir.

You can garnish your Pineapple Ginger Mocktail with a pineapple wedge, a lime wheel, or a sprig of fresh mint.

Fun fact: Ginger beer is a non-alcoholic beverage made by fermenting ginger and sugar. It’s similar to ginger ale but has a stronger ginger flavor and a spicier kick. Ginger beer has a long history and was originally brewed in England in the 1700s. It’s popular worldwide and is used as a mixer in many cocktails and mocktails.

4. Classic Margarita Mocktail (with spicy option)

Ingredients:

1/4 Cup orange juice

1/2 Cup Limeade (or fresh lime juice if desired)

1/4 Cup agave syrup (simple syrup can be used)

1.5oz Alcohol-Free Tequila, such as Ritual, if desired

1/4 Cup sparkling water

Salt for rimming the glass

Ice cubes

Lime wedges for garnish

  • Fill your glass with ice cubes, then pour the margarita mixture over the ice.

Lastly, for those wanting to spice it up, try a Jalapeño Margarita mocktail—muddle fresh jalapeño with lime juice and agave syrup in a shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain over ice and top with sparkling water. This mocktail provides the perfect spicy kick without the alcohol. Try rimming your glass with Tajin (recipe below) instead of salt for extra flavor.
